Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because (1) Sacred Heart Canossian School (SHCS) is an educational institute of high historical significance (founded by the Canossian Sisters of Charity in 1860 in the then british colony of Hong Kong, also being one of the earliest western style primary schools for girls in Hong Kong), (2) it is highly prestigious for its educational values, its emphasis on spiritual growth of students, its student places being highly competitive for entrance by kindergarten leavers, and its outstanding academic results of students for entrance into secondary schools; and (3) amongst its alumni are high profile figures in the political, commercial, professional, and educational field in Hong Kong and beyond.

No need to dispute it. My initial CSD nomination was in error and has been rescinded. Apologies. Evanh2008 (talk|contribs) 04:15, 21 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
