We are aware that the wording on Cornish entries can sometimes be a contentious topic, especially those concerning geography. Michael Morpugo[edit]

There's a book I read when I was little called Why the Whales Came by Michael Morpugo, about a community living on the Isles of Scilly. It featured Samson, saying that the isle was cursed after some narwhals were beached on the island and the locals killed them for ivory instead of trying to get them back in the sea. How did the deer escape?[edit]
