Misrepresentation[edit]

This article presents a vastly different view of Smith than that presented in the long biographical essay at the official website of Princeton University. For example that work states "Smith did not achieve all that he hoped for in the way of curricular reform, but his achievements in other areas were impressive." These achievements included a large increase in enrollment, a famous accumulation of scientific apparatus, and the rebuilding of Nassau Hall after a devastating fire in 1802. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.26.106.9 (talk) 23:48, 14 September 2010 (UTC) This is a bizarre misrepresentation of Smith; none of this jives with the biographical entry at the Princeton University web site. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.78.67.10 (talk) 22:17, 2 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
