incorrect article[edit]

This article appears to be an inaccurate advertisement for certain parties.

Aluminum composite panels were not invented by the claimed reference. Aluminum (composite) honeycomb panels, in their modern-day form, were invented in 1948, by Steele, et al, and were around much longer before that in various other forms (see links), and were certainly already around before the claimed invention date of the article. This article is not, primarily, about honeycomb panels. Those are complex, expensive and high performance, mostly used for aerospace. The panels described here are much simpler, cheaper and used for architecture. Andy Dingley (talk) 12:33, 29 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

time references[edit]

"20 years ago" and "40 years ago" are relative terms which, as time goes on, are less and less accurate. This means this document is doomed to failure of inaccuracies, if it is not already. If an unknown date or year of invention is known, then use the decades term, as "in the 1970s" I use wikipedia to find data, not to have to go somewhere else to find the data to fix someone else's mess, as such I won't be fixing this. ~AeSix 96.254.154.61 (talk) 20:31, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

number of tiles in Spaceship Earth[edit]

The picture text says Epcot's Spaceship Earth is an example of the use of ACP in architecture. It is a geodesic sphere composed of 11,324 ACP tiles.
Its article says 11,448, and neither of those have sources marked (at least not directly on that info). Is either of those the right number? 85.76.169.72 (talk) 23:18, 18 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

corrupted references[edit]

It appears many references have been corrupted. For example, an older version of the page [1] has a link to coroplast.com which goes to coroplast.com, but in the current (2017/01/29) version goes to "batiplac.com". Review[edit]

These panels are everywhere, in many hidden forms. The many recent changes to this article suggest a review and restructuring may be in order.

Precast Concrete Sandwich Panels[edit]

This article doesn't mention sandwich panels composites with concrete. An example composite is 80cm concrete, 290 cm insulation Polyurethane and then 80cm concrete.
