Prizes awarded?[edit]

"Sangean has been awarded several electronics industry prizes for its products."

Ha! I'd like to see some citations or other evidence. I just completed analysis of a Sangean CCRadio, manufactured for C. Crane Co. of Fortuna, California. Typical of this type, the LCD display had failed. Upon opening it up I found it to be a disposable $15 radio that was heavily marketed and sold for $165. Utterly unrepairable and total junk.
