Possible copyvio?

This seems to be copied and pasted from [1]. I'm not sure if this counts as a work of the United States Government or not, but that site's credits page mentions companies contributing to their website. I'm replacing the article with the copyvio template, just to be on the safe side -- if I made a mistake, feel free to revert me. --Cadaeib 01:40, 6 April 2006 (UTC)

Dude you don't vandlise and article just because you think it is a copyright violation. You mearly put up the warning. Look at the link you quoted as the source, it is a US Government Offical Website, therefore it is public domain. --71Demon 17:32, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
I'm sorry. I saw that the credits page of the site mentioned "individuals and companies", so I assumed that it wasn't entirely a government site, and followed the instructions on WP:CP. I now see that Wikipedia:Spotting possible copyright violations says to do that after it's mentioned on the talk page of the article. I'd revert the article, but the template says not to edit the page; once it's posted, I think it's too late. My bad; again, I'm sorry, and thanks for pointing out the fact that it was an official government website. (By the way, I don't think it counts as vandalising -- I was acting in good faith.)--Cadaeib 01:15, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
I think you were operating in good faith too, but be careful. If your not sure, message someone before you do anything like. Some of the guys that have been on here for awhile will be more than happy to help you out. --71Demon 8 April 2006 (UTC)
Sorry, I forgot to change the edit summary of my last edit to this talk page after I found out that the copyvio template says not to edit the page. So just to clarify, I didn't revert the article after all, contrary to what my previous edit summary said. --Cadaeib 14:42, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
No problem. I reverted it back. --71Demon 17:10, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
Okay, I'll ask next time. Thanks for fixing my newbie mistake! --Cadaeib 15:16, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
