Sounds too much like a personal page from the school, almost as if an advertisement. I personally know the writer, and this should be considered a work in-progress. I suggest we leave it alone for the time being. --Brak710101 22:21, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm from the Pittsburgh area and recognized the school immediately, but I really think you're going to have a hard time meeting WP:LOCAL with this. I can't think of any major sports stars that have come from Seton LaSalle, and (thankfully) you haven't had any issues like Columbine that would have brought the school into national/worldwide news. I'm not going to tag it for AfD right now, but I am going to tag it with something that might help get it up to speed faster than you'll be able to do it yourself. --Jemiller226 03:12, 24 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Major sports stars?" include Jim Sweeney (former offensive lineman for the NY Jets and Pittsburgh Steelers), Suzie McConnell-Serio (multi-Olympic medallist, former WNBA rookie of the year, and current Duquesne womens basketball head coach). 1978 grad, David Morehouse, is currently president of the Pittsburgh Penguins. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Thewordshark (talk • contribs) 18:41, 27 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
