Ages and chronology seem a bit off[edit]

This source says "He was 19, [and] She was 30" when she and her husband met, and the Wiki article cites those numbers, but if she started teaching at Northwestern in fall 1983, after her 2-year Stanford fellowship, she would have been at least 31 when they met there as teacher and student. Watch out for[edit]

There is at least one other author named Sheila Schwartz, and Google Books conflates the two -- see "More by author" here. This Sheila Schwartz is NOT the author described by Amazon as follows:

"Dr. Sheila Schwartz, professor emeritus from SUNY, has published fifteen books, including the mainstream novels The Solid Gold Circle and Sorority, and the young adult novels Growing Up Guilty and Like Mother, Like Me, which was made into a film with Linda Lavin and Kristy McNichol. Her writing and teaching encompass a variety of categories, including novels, short stories, nonfiction, and children's books. She has published over a hundred articles and book reviews, which have appeared in The New York Times Book Review, The Nation, and Psychology Today, among other publications. She wrote and produced an award winning documentary film in France, The Children of Izieu. She has taught writing and literature at every age level, received the New York State/UUP Medal for Overall Excellence, two New York State English Council Awards for Excellence in Teaching and Writing, is a member of PEN, and was a Fulbright Scholar in Ireland."

Nor (as far as I can tell) did this Sheila Schwartz co-write books about Michelangelo and Renaissance art with Leo Steinberg. There is a possibility for one or more future articles and disambiguation here, but for now don't follow Google and conflate different people with the same name.
