Article disputed[edit]

Only one side of the story is given with regard to the death of civilians in the November 1999 incident. Its common knowledge the Army and the LTTE traded allegations as to who actually bombed the shire (see LTTE massacre 38 refugees including 13 children in Madhu Church, wound 64 other civilians, Daily News, November 22, 1999). Also the article fails to mention that the LTTE were the first to attack the shrine a week before. --snowolfD4 ( talk / @ ) 01:32, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you read it properly you can see that it states that both sides blame each other for the attack. If you want to get in details about the incident feel free to start a new entry on Madhu Church massacre and can make the centre of the usual dirty wars accompanied with all articles related to the island. This is on the Church and keep it free from that. Lets try to AGF and keep controversies outside this entry. Cheers Wiki San Roze †αLҝ 10:21, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well said wiki. Let not make this article yet another battleground for government and Tiger supporters. I see the article has been put up for DYK. It would be nice if someone could upload a picture. Just some thoughts. Sinhala freedom 20:12, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Along with the picture we also need some details on the architecture, layout and details on building materials if someone can come up with it too. If its applicable here details of some unique practices associated with this Church like this would also be very useful. Cheers Wiki San Roze †αLҝ 21:54, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
