Title[edit]

Hey does anyone know what "Si Monumentum Requires, Circumspice" means? Zouavman Le Zouave (Talk to me!O)))) 11:51, 1 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It means, "if you seek a monument, look around [you]" Kongming 03:15, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If it was requiris, you would be right, but requires is future tense (that could be interesting for those who care about the band’s lyrics in Latin). --217/83 00:27, 15 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Why is the title of the article different from the title of the album?--Wehwalt (talk) 20:00, 27 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It is the correct title, look at the album. --217/83 00:27, 15 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Behold, misplaced arrogance on the internet! Look up Christopher Wren's resting place. The 'V' is a common substitution, but it is obvious that the this record is titled after Wren's epitaph, which is rendered with 'U's. The V's on the album cover are a stylistic decision. Why not go through the other album titles and change the U's to V's? U is the proper rendering. 91.125.169.34 (talk) 09:37, 30 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Stylistic decision or not – it's the name of the album (and track); see cover and tracklist. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 10:12, 30 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
