A shame[edit]

It is a shame that though Arieti was regarded in his time as the world’s foremost authority on schizophrenia, after biological psychiatry took over thanks to Big Pharma financial muscle, Arieti is not even mentioned in the profession! —Cesar Tort 20:25, 27 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You need an citation for that assertion, Cesar. Rockpocket (talk) 20:58, 27 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
That claim appears on the back cover of the 1994 edition of the book due to the fact that Arieti edited the multi-volume American Handbook of Psychiatry and also for Interpretation of Schizophrenia, a result of a third of a century of studying and treating schizophrenia. I have written to the The Silvano Arieti Association asking for a specific source. Meanwhile I changed the phrase. —Cesar Tort 05:00, 28 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
