This doesn't merit a standalone article but would fit into the main article of the school involved. Eustachiusz (talk) 04:21, 24 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Eustachiusz, I'm afraid I do not understand your comment. This is the main article on Silverado High School in Victorville, California. Am I missing something? John from Idegon (talk) 04:49, 24 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Never mind. I figured it out. You forgot to place the merge from template here. I've done that for you, and edited the title of this section for clarity. John from Idegon (talk) 05:01, 24 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose as this article stands now. To merge the content of this one brief event to this article now, as there is no copy on history on it at all, would be a violation of both RECENT and WEIGHT. Instead, I would propose deletion of the riot article as stale NOTNEWS. The only reliable source on it is one story on the immediate incident from an LA TV ststion. The other sources are blogs. John from Idegon (talk) 05:09, 24 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the fix - careless of me. I don't have any view on whether the "riot" article is deleted altogether or merged here, but it should not be a separate article.Eustachiusz (talk) 12:40, 24 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I've redirected without merging. I agree that this is not really a significant event. It perhaps merits one or two sentences, maximum, at the high school article. If someone wishes to RfD/AfD/PROD it, I have no objection. Neutralitytalk 19:52, 28 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
