Paragraph about how treaty impacted relations between the USSR and the People's Republic of China[edit]

Untitled[edit]

The paragraph that I removed about how the treaty impacted relations between the People's Republic of China and the USSR was very misleading. The government of China that the Soviet Union backed against the Japanese, which was called the Republic of China and was led by Chiang Kai-Shek, was not the same as that of the People's Republic of China, which overthrew Chiang and was led by Mao. And China never was a Soviet satellite it was always very independent even after Mao's communists overthrew Chiang they still were very independent of the Soviet Union and had a somewhat bad relationship with that country. --76.214.115.213 (talk) 03:27, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
