Notability[edit]

Soul Survivor is clearly notable. Among other things, they run festivals attended by tens of thousands of people and they've published 14 CDs of music from their various events. Gerv 17:58, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The best way to show notability is to provide independent profiles that can be used as sources for the article. Please see Wikipedia:Notability. Pan Dan 18:20, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It is absurd to suggest that an article of this length and detail should not be considered notable. It includes plenty of information that shows notability and is a much more notable subject than many articles which are not considered for deletion. This tag (which incidently is in the wrong place on the page) should be deleted immediately. Ss1wig 16:13, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Survivor Records[edit]

Is there any connections between Soul Survivor and Survivor Records? -Martious 19:06, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, survivor records is run by soul survivor so they are very closely linked Ss1wig 16:13, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Survivor Records is actually run through Kingsway Communications. It is closely affliated with the event in terms of recording the Live Music at Soul Survivor but it is a youth music label in its own right and should not be merged.

Vandalism[edit]

Noticed some vandalism on the page, reverted it.--128.243.253.111 (talk) 18:59, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation[edit]

Is this really clearly the most notable Soul Survivor? There are a number of pretty notable songs and albums with this name (the Pete Rock album, for example), whereas I had never heard of this organization. I think it makes more sense for Soul Survivor to go straight to the disambiguation page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.163.216.238 (talk) 06:53, 10 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think you are probably right - I think it was a case that this page was created first, before the Albums, etc had pages - so it was the only 'Soul Survivor' on Wikipedia, but I agree they are probably all of equal value - so if you want the honour of changing it around - please feel free... cleanup[edit]

Does anyone know what changes are needed to meet the Wiki MOS? (Frammy7 (talk) 23:12, 19 December 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Fresh Expressions?[edit]

Is this related to Fresh Expressions? (I think there is a link, not sure if enough to mention/how to do so) Maitchy (talk) 06:03, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Extended Page[edit]

I've added quite a bit of information, both on the church and their festivals. I'll try to continue improving this page as much as I can. If anyone else has anything to add, please do. ItsZippy (talk) 15:36, 25 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
