Inspiration?[edit]

A note: this church is much more like the Church of the Jacobins in Toulouse than the Albi Cathedral as it is indicated in the article, although these two churches in the south of France both belong to the Southern French Gothic style. --Frédéric Neupont (talk) 07:59, 18 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Frédéric Neupont: Perhaps so, but I can't seen any online source mentioning the Church of the Jacobins in connection with St Brigid's, only the Albi Cathedral. The architect is Australian, so may not have seen the Church of the Jacobins. Indeed, his biography does not mention in any travel in France so it is possible his inspiration came entirely from books. Kerry (talk) 22:06, 18 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
