the other St.Mary's Church, Handsworth[edit]

I have made cross references at St. Mary's Church, Handsworth and at Handsworth, South Yorkshire to warn of possible confusions between the St.Mary's Church in Handsworth, Birmingham UK and the church of the same name in Handsworth, Sheffield UK. Sibadd 02:05, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bells[edit]

I was told by my mother that one of the bells when they were replaced and rehung in 1954/55 was inscribed with the name of my late grandmother Gladys Griffith who passed away in 1954 while she was Lady Mayoress of Birmingham. I am trying to verify this but am not really sure where to look... Popgriff (talk) 17:20, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Each of the 8 bells is inscribed, I now have a copy of the page in the peal book with the names of the people who donated to the restoration of each bell and the dedications to their loved ones. Popgriff (talk) 08:25, 14 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
