Archaeology[edit]

The archaeologists had a really good go at the 10 Gresham St site because there was lots of interesting Roman remains. There doesn't seem to be a final report available online yet, all I could find was "In the north-west corner of the site the massive foundations of the church tower of St Michael Wood Street, demolished at the end of the 19th century, were uncovered." No doubt somewhere in the planning dept there will be lots of maps, but I think I've got the {{coord}} template about right - it's awkward because Gresham St seems to have been realigned at some point, there used to be more of a kink where it met Wood St. 86.27.79.11 (talk) 20:09, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
