Notability[edit]

It's normal for universities to have slogans and cheers and songs that are known throughout their communities—and that are virtually unknown to anyone outside of them. The article lists a number of sources, all but two of them from HIT's own website. One of the two that isn't on HIT's website is mostly a copy or paraphrase of material on the other of the two. Since I don't read Chinese, I can't tell from looking through Google search results whether sources are independent and reliable. Hence, I've inserted a Notability tag. I think I'll wind up redirecting the article to the university, as it seems prima facie unlikely that this slogan merits a free-standing article. Largoplazo (talk) 14:58, 1 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
