St. Leonards is essentially part of Hastings, so I propose to move it to be moved to Summerfields, Hastings since it is not correct to have it 'school, area of town' rather than 'school, town'. FM [ talk to me | show contributions ] 11:17, 14 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Would it not be more sensible to move it to the Silverhill, East Sussex page - due to the fact the article mentions Bohemia Farm and area, which are more a part of Silverhill than St Leonards or Hastings!DavidAnstiss (talk) 08:40, 11 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I see no reason to merge this article. The subject merits a standalone article. With such prominent alumni and a historic house, there will inevitably be plenty of sources to expand the article. 17:16, 19 May 2012 (UTC)

I've removed a sentence about alumni

Former Summerfields alumni include Michael Morris, 3rd Baron Killanin, Prince Rainier of Monaco, Marquess of Abergavenny, Duke of Marlborough (title), a former King of Jordan, Lord Charles Spencer-Churchill

The reference is a website that actually says "Marquis [sic] of Abergavenny, Prince Rainier of Monaco, Marquis [sic] of Blandford, Duke of Marlborough, Lord Avon, King of Jordan, Lord Charles Spencer Churchill."

None of the subjects' Wikipedia articles mention Summerfields except Rainier. The wikilink to Abergavenny is to the title and it is ambiguous whether the alumnus is Christopher George Charles Nevill, 6th Marquess of Abergavenny (born 23 April 1955) or his late father John Nevill, 5th Marquess of Abergavenny (1914–2000). The wikilink to Marlborough is to the title and it is ambiguous whether the alumnus is John Spencer-Churchill, 10th Duke of Marlborough (1897–1972) (who would have been known as Marquess of Blandford), or his son John Spencer-Churchill, 11th Duke of Marlborough (1926–2014), or his son Jamie Spencer-Churchill, 12th Duke of Marlborough (born 1955), also Marquess of Blandford, real name Charles. If it's him, he could be all 3 of the "Marquis of Blandford, Duke of Marlborough, ... Lord Charles Spencer Churchill." The link to Lord Charles Spencer-Churchill can't be right since he died in 1840. The King of Jordan might be Hussein of Jordan but could conceivably be his father.

I've had an enjoyable half-an-hour, but on balance the whole thing is so confusing, and might have BLP issues, so I think it's best deleted. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 08:03, 20 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
