Munch of the content is embellished based on a single article in a Norwegian tabloid. There are several contradictions with the article James Martin Stagg, which is far better sourced.[edit]

Looks liked this article has been wildly embellished. No doubt Sverre Petersen was a talented meteorologist, but calling him a prominent leader in his field who saved the D-day is not properly sourced. -- Heptor talk 22:28, 26 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

There are several sources on the web fi you bothered to look it up:

" The British Admiralty and the British Meteorological Office urged delay. They were aided by the brilliant Norwegian theoretician Sverre Petterssen – a giant in the field of weather analysis and forecasting, and an international leader in meteorology during the mid-20th century."
