Source clarification request[edit]

I can't find any sign that this source exists: Tewfik, Paul S.; Youssef Zaki. "The Syro-Lebanese of Egypt"". We need publication details to verify when and where this source has been published and if it is reliable. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 01:37, 18 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Split proposed[edit]

I've removed the "Notables" section as it appears to fail WP:NLIST and was slowly developing into a me-too mess for some editors with obvious COIs. I now propose moving the families section into a separate article titled List of Syro-Lebanese families in Egypt. Fitzcarmalan (talk) 13:20, 11 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Any difference?[edit]

What is the difference between the "Syro-Lebanese" in Egypt and the Lebanese people in Egypt? I'm quite confused. Syro-Lebanese, name wise, seems to refer to Syrians as well, but then we would still have to question whether this article is really necessary; we could just create a separate article for the Syrians in Egypt. The article for the Lebanese people in Egypt may also refer to national origin instead of ethnic/ethnoreligious origin, which this article might be for, but then, I think we should rename this page to something like "Levantines in Egypt" or "Levantine Christians in Egypt" to prevent confusion.
