Marrying of Digital boards[edit]

In the digital versions of the 573, the security cartridges would be "married" to that motherboard and couldn't be changed to another motherboard. I dont have a citation for this, hence putting it on talk instead but also because I'm not sure how relevant it is. Usx9 (talk) 15:32, 4 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sources[edit]

I would like to say that System 16 is not a reliable source. It is unverified information and is often wrong. There's more information such as github repositories hosting hardware documentation, known game lists that are proven correct. Also I'm not aware of a "satellite terminal" variant, but it's likely using a PCMCIA network device which has it's on System-on-a-Chip running UDEOS and NetNucleus, it is not a "variant" of the system as the 573 motherboards all the same, will run every game etc. a.k.a NaokiS (talk) 19:54, 8 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
