An investigative report in the NY Times today indicates that much of the information coming out of TM Landry is fraudulent. https://www.nytimes.com/2018/11/30/us/tm-landry-college-prep-black-students.html The information in this article needs to be verified and updated. Plagiarism in "Transcript falsification allegations" section[edit]

This new section "Transcript falsification allegations" is important, but it should be edited. Right now, it contains text directly copy-pasted from the New York Times article. This needs a rewrite. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JBhistorian (talkcontribs) 17:42, 30 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for catching that. I made the fix. Rklawton (talk) 17:58, 30 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Removing discussion of Will Stancil's op-ed[edit]

Recently, a paragraph was added to the article referencing Will Stancil's op-ed in The Atlantic in which the author talks about what he calls a "breakdown" of the college admissions process at top-tier schools. Although Stancil uses the T.M. Landry story as an entry point into his opinion piece, he does not report any new factual information about T.M. Landry. Thus, a discussion of Stancil's opinions about the American college admissions process is not appropriate for this Wikipedia article about T.M. Landry. I am removing this from the article. --JBhistorian (talk) 14:35, 15 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
