This article appears to be a student's essay and needs to be reformatted. The articles size can be cut in half and it should look much like other dam articles. Also, information on the Salween River should be put in the proper article. All of the negative impacts of the dam can simply be put into a one or two headers about controversy. In addition, the information could be cited and written better to remove bias. Every dam has its own problems and I am not saying this dam is like the others but a more concise article without direct conclusions should be made. Mongton Dam?[edit]

Apparently the dam may have been renamed. I don't think this source is reliable enough to warrant inclusion in the article yet but it is worth keeping an eye on.--NortyNort (Holla) 01:25, 9 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
