Lost Media?[edit]

I heard one of the actors, Tim Whitnall, talk briefly about this show on the Jack's Throwback Attack Podcast, but for some reason, I can't find anything else on the internet except for this article, and a few others on a few other sites. In other words, I have yet to see any videos of the show. Only photos. Would that mean it's lost media? Triviatronic9000 (talk) 20:19, 6 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. I created this page originally so hopefully I can answer your question.

This show is indeed 'lost media' specifically in that it isn't widely available online, but is however complete in the archives (according to Kaleidoscope).

There's however a few (very minimal) pieces of the TV show itself online - if you want an overview of what these are:

There is (or was) one clip of the show available - the opening titles were on TVark (you might have seen it as a citation in the article) - but sadly that site is down at the time of writing and I didn't save the clip it in time. It should hopefully come back though.
The two songs on the released record have appeared on Youtube/Spotify - here's one that also includes an interesting longer mix of the A-side included as well.
Also, mentioned in the main article is that the first episode is viewable upon request at the BFI Southbank in London. It is sadly not yet available on online equivelent BFI Replay, or at least was when I last checked in June. (Although if you are both a lost media and Tim Whitnall fan - BFI Replay *does* include the even-rarer Yorkshire Television childrens programme Sunny Side Up (1982) which he presented/played characters in.)

Sorry didn't see your reply until now. The songs are indeed on Youtube - here's a playlist with them. They are uploaded with no connection to the series' name (you have to search for the fictional band's name Electric Arc instead) which might be why they didn't appear.
