Infidels Disclaimer[edit]

Should this be added to the article? II has this on their page about the book:

  • "Note: the scholarship of Kersey Graves has been questioned by numerous theists and nontheists alike; the inclusion of his The World's Sixteen Crucified Saviors in the Secular Web's Historical Library does not constitute endorsement by Internet Infidels, Inc. This document was included for historical purposes; readers should be extremely cautious in trusting anything in this book."

I'd put it in with a link, but I don't feel like researching it right now. To do....--Aelffin 03:11, 8 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Current use[edit]

This book is filled with errors, but it's occasionally used by a few Muslim apologists seeking to undermine Christianity... AnonMoos (talk) 10:30, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Are you merely stupid? Or are you such a fanatic that you even use Wikipedia to pursue your agenda? This is the talk page for this article. No-one cares about your opinions; keep to discussing the article. 124.170.245.242 (talk) 12:29, 18 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Whatever, dude -- I was stating clear facts about its error-filled status and one of its main current uses (of course, honest and knowledgeable atheists have already given up trying to make use of the book, as seen in the website disclaimer above...). Citecheck template removed[edit]

The citecheck template notifies readers of possible citation misuse (such as quotes taken out of context). Since this article has no citations this template is inappropriate. Please see Wikipedia:Cleanup resources if some other template is appropriate. Durova 02:58, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

caption[edit]

The caption under the picture reads "The World's Sixteen Crucified Saviors (1875)". But the image is from the modern printing 2001 (ISBN 093281395X). What are people's thoughts, is this OK? jbolden1517Talk 04:43, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Christ[edit]

I notice many have looked back at the worship of the gods of the earth, and the ones of the earth that held the title of christ. I have yet to see any one look at why Immanuel his name and title was changed! To help, I will share. The name of the Messiah (chosen of the heavens) IS Immanuel. the flesh name The spirit that walked in Immanuel flesh was the Greatest of all the gods only Son! He died for telling us this. Adam is the only Son. Who brought sin into the world that had to walk in the flesh to help bring it out! Just one of the Heavens reasons. His story was changed by the church and rulers and scholars of his time! It is not the fact his walk is like some of the past! The church wanted to keep the old worship of the gods of the earth, so they changed Immanuel name , title. And then made him God in the flesh so you can have the goddess mother of christ! So people can understand, his story is close to some of the gods of the earth. But his was changed to be close so Christianity the followers of christ could carry on with the worship of the gods of the earth, and trick the followers of Immanuel into the same worship! This is what happened and why history has so many untold truths. It is the same that has written history and created the education system :) GJincGJ (talk) 17:50, 7 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
