Gillespie/Vancouver biography?[edit]

An editor on Vancouver's page says " Vancouver biographer B. Guild Gillespie, in a 1996 paper, suggests that the erratic Pitt was a psychopath." This might be worth examining to improve this article about Pitt. rewinn (talk) 06:14, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Failed spy or Traitor?[edit]

Concerning his trip to France in 1799, the note at http://www.leighrayment.com/peers/peersC1.htm says Camelford was found with a note of introduction to France's then-leader, which suggests skullduggery; another source. I have read (sorry but I forget which book) says Camelford claims he was trying to steal French charts. I don't know whether it's possible to settle the matter now but it seems an interesting point.rewinn (talk) 21:25, 4 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
