Discography[edit]

Thank you for drafting the page of this motet of the composer.

For the discography, a critical review of the available performances of Bruckner's Tota pulchra es has been made by Hans Roelofs. See Critical review of about 40 recordings of Tota pulchra es. According to Roelofs, the better recordings are those by Best, Böck, Hausmann, Jochum, Mayrhofer, Ortner, Schäfer and Zanotelli. --Réginald alias Meneerke bloem (To reply) 07:55, 29 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not in "Cecilian style"[edit]

Bruckner has composed this antiphon in Phrygian mode, not in "Cecilian style". The Phrygian mode is one of the modes used by the Cecilian movement. However, Bruckner's Tota pulchra es does not follow other requirements of the Cecilian movement (a cappella, etc.). --Réginald alias Meneerke bloem (To reply) 15:57, 15 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
