I updated Trevor's info to coincide with his recent team change to Toronto. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.114.75.51 (talk) 19:09, 12 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to remove the first sentence of Trevor’s Early Life section that calls out his prior religious background. Appreciate any assistance here! MSC0431 (talk) 16:44, 26 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
MSC0431, Are you referring to his father coaching the Maccabiah Games? I can see no reason to remove it even if Smith isn't Jewish anymore. It's not about him, it's about his father. We often see parents jobs listed on Wikipedia. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 00:38, 27 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
MSC0431, Just read the discussion with Drmies and 331dot and I'll remove it from the first section. Just so you know, I think a lot of articles about athletes have their religion in them (see the Hughes brothers, Mark Scheifele, nearly every football player etc.) but I know this can be a very touchy subject.
