Oldest stone building[edit]

The online version of The Press article from 9 June 2012 Technology to save Trinity Church by Cate Broughton is now different to its print version (Technology to save oldest stone building, page A13). It says in the print version that the Trinity Church is "the oldest stone building in the South Island". It doesn't say that in the online version any longer, as the claim is not true. The Malthouse in Colombo Street is from 1867 and is thus older. Schwede 66 21:13, 12 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Naming[edit]

New occupant name again.[edit]

The current business occupying the building is "The Church Brew Pub" https://www.churchpub.co.nz/

Renaming this page each time there is a new tenant doesn't seem right?

It is still referred to as "Trinity Church" e.g. here https://www.stuff.co.nz/the-press/news/91063606/saving-the-old-some-good-news-for-christchurch-heritage-buildings

Heritage New Zealand lists it as "Trinity Congregational Church (Former)" https://www.heritage.org.nz/list-details/306/Listing

Yes, unfortunately whoever made this page wasn't aware of the building's history. The name needs to be changed to Trinity Congregational Church. 153.111.220.252 (talk) 20:02, 20 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
