Comments[edit]

I don't see why the U.S. Route XX in Maryland articles shouldn't follow the standard for ordinary state routes. I do agree that the sheer number of junctions for the really long routes like US 301 would be a bit unwieldy, but what is the standard for judging the number of routes that ought to be listed? Personally I didn't feel that the list I generated was that long, but I am willing to learn why, to avoid mistakes in the future. -TheOneKEA

The template page says to try to limit the number to 8 (it used to be 5 or 6, but I changed it) and that the list is just so that the user can get an idea of where the route is located in relation to other routes. That goes for all routes not just U.S. Route X in Maryland articles. According to WP:MDRD/EG though, the "Major junctions" section should include junctions with all numbered routes, so that would be the place to put a more complete list. Hope that helps.-Jeff (talk) 05:32, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, the junction listing is now finished. I borrowed some methodology from the Interstate 95 in Maryland article's junction listing. I'm going to apply this to some of the other articles mentioned elsewhere. -TheOneKEA

Welcome Center pictures?[edit]

Anybody have any pictures of the welcome center near the Virginia Border they can upload? I was there last year, and I'm kind of sorry that I never did. ----DanTD (talk) 00:47, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Date of Pocomoke City bypass[edit]

The article phrases it "by 1975", and cites an Exxon map of that vintage. However, looking at the 1968 USGS topo (which was based on 1967 aerial photos), it can be narrowed down to "by 1967". Niobrara (talk) 16:57, 6 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
