||| Why is this tagged for deletion? It's about a school in South Australia, this isn't any advertisement or anything like that, just basic information about the school.

  • It was tagged for deletion (by me) because the article did not explain why the school was sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia per WP:N. --Butseriouslyfolks 16:27, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • This is a significant school, attended by a number of eminent South Australians including Michael Atkinson and Mark Oliphant. It is one of the most significant schools in South Australia. I think if you delete this page then you should delete every high school on wikipedia!

Uniforms[edit]

Impressive amount of detail here, but a bit overwhelming and needs to be cut down to size. I've tagged the section for cleanup. Ohconfucius 07:33, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Alumni[edit]

I notice that the list of Alumni has been deleted from this page based on WP:BLP. I point out that WP:BLP does not specifically mention alumni; and that each of the individual pages listed mentions the fact that the person attended this school.

Are we now saying that if, for example, Julia Gillard's own page states that she attended this school, and references that fact correctly, that we have to add a reference to this page as well? Seems a bit over the top to me. Please don't make bulk changes without some thought or discussion. --Perry Middlemiss (talk) 23:14, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
