Misspelt keyword[edit]

The correct spelling for the keyword is "vardøger" [1]. Can this be corrected? --84.209.218.85 12:59, 10 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Literary journal[edit]

There was also a literary journal or something in Norway, called Vardøger. I'll add a short section when I have looked it up. 惑乱 Wakuran (talk) 11:32, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

English visitor to Norway preceded by a Vardoger.[edit]

I apologize for not being able to provide the reference, but I remember reading of an English visitor to Norway, possibly in the 1950s, who was surprised at the reception he received in his Hotel and places in the Town he was visiting. People in the Hotel greeted him as a former guest, and people in the Town said he had visited their establishments some time before. He said he had never been to the Town or Norway prior to his current visit and they must simply be mistaking him for someone els from England. But the people he spoke to were adamant it was him, not someone els. He was later told about 'Vardogers' by some people in Norway.Johnwrd (talk) 02:17, 22 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Note the above case was not that of an English visitor to Norway but that of New York Businessman Erkson Gurique in 1955. Johnwrd (talk) 10:52, 26 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
