Untitled[edit]

This page is in dire need of a rewrite. Also, there is nothing that I saw that mentioned his, err, negative aspects, like going 20 rows in to a stadium to confront a fan. --Jpawloski 07:23, 5 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'll try to find the details, but I remember he once punched a 'fan'/spectator for insulting him and his daughter.Inf fg (talk) 17:54, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

He did run into the stands. It happened in Portland. Also, he claimed the fan insulted his daughter over some her being handicapped. How would the fan know this?..the fan had must of gotten under his skin about playing, because he was playing terribly and Houston was getting beat bad.

Needs more detail on non-sporting incidents[edit]

Given that he appears to have been controversial enough to have had an episode to himself of the Crime in Sports podcast (#060: The Sudden Violence of Bad Decisions — The Madness of Vernon Maxwell), there is very little detail here. — OwenBlacker (he/him; Talk; please {{ping}} me in replies) 21:30, 17 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
