Birthplace?[edit]

Some sources say he was born in Tulsa, some say he was born in Fort Worth, Texas (although of course he was raised in Tulsa). For example, the Tulsa World says Fort Worth,[1] but the New York Times says Tulsa.[2]. Hopefully we can nail this down. R.I.P.--Arxiloxos (talk) 01:22, 16 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Stop the edit warring, children. The lede and info box are permitted (indeed, intended, and in the case of info box, intended exclusively) to repeat material that is elsewhere in the article. So just leave the age at death in the text and get on to improving the article or working on the discography. The albums (at least Face to Face) are notable and in need of writing / expansion.
