Location[edit]

  • Now you put West Adams in Wilshire, when it is right at the Vermont off-ramp of the Santa Monica Fwy. Wilshire is the smallest of the three communities within the Pico-Union Neighborhood Council area. You can see the picture of the school under construction in satellite map. Neighborhood councils are not WP:Reliable sources. BeenAroundAWhile (talk) 21:16, 24 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello

I am requesting an edit in your entry under 'West Adams Preparatory High School'.

I am (redacted). There is an entry under this entry regarding me that states - (redacted)

I now have a Court Order reversing my plea to not guilty as well as dismissing the case. I emailed a copy of this court order to info-en-q@wikimedia.org

May you please remove this sentence regarding this issue from your entry. I am also contacting your references as well.

Thank You — Preceding unsigned comment added by 104.173.228.198 (talk) 21:29, 9 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You need to provide a published news source to that effect. Ian.thomson (talk) 21:43, 9 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
There is a message at OTRS Ticket#2015030410015381, since I know nothing about US law (being in UK), I'm leaving it for another agent. Ronhjones  (Talk) 23:05, 9 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
There's a source (#6, LADN), but dunno if RS. In any case, if case is worth inclusion to start with, this doesn't change that imo. Dingsuntil (talk) 04:34, 12 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I handled that ticket, and asked Mr. Ratcliff for secondary sources that can bring balance to that paragraph. We cannot use court documents. I declined outright removal because the stories are obviously related to the school. But, what I'm thinking is that if the incident (to call it something) cannot be shown to have had a "lasting effect" on the school, then perhaps we're dealing with a WP:NPF-type situation that would merit removal. Thoughts? §FreeRangeFrogcroak 05:21, 12 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Not opposed. I said elsewhere that the ruling (probably) isn't a case for removal. But the claim that this never met the criteria for inclusion is not unreasonable. E.g. 2 years after that some kid got stabbed there. Do we put that in the page? Probably not, unless it turns out Jamie Oliver did it. Dingsuntil (talk) 08:12, 12 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I've removed it. If someone disagrees please let me know. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 22:55, 12 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
