Fair use rationale for Image:Cover amaranth.jpg[edit]

Image:Cover amaranth.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Original Research removed[edit]

I've removed the following from the article: The phrase “Kiss while your lips are still red”, which is used throughout the song, refers to the disappearance of one's lip color as one dies; the phrase simply contends “kiss while you still can”, or “enjoy it while you still can”.

Firstly, no source was given, so it's original research. Secondly, the other lyrics suggest to me that this interpretation is wrong; the whole song is about young love, not merely love, as evidenced by virtually every other line in the song: 'Young heart for love' specifically uses the word young, 'while bosom is still untouched' shows that the girl who is the subject of the song is sexually innocent, 'Hold another hand while a hand's still without a tool' seems to suggest the subject is still a child (I interpret someone's hand being 'without a tool' as meaning that they don't yet work, and so wield no tools), and 'Drown into eyes while they're still blind' suggests that the potential targets of the girl's affections are also young and naive - having 'blind eyes' being a methapor for this naivete. Also, the first two lines of the chorus, 'First day of love never comes back / A passionate hour's never a wasted one' seem to be advice given by an older, wiser person to a younger one, reinforcing the idea that this song is Tuomas's advice on love to a young and innocent girl. Looked at in the context of these other lines, it seems that 'Kiss while your lips are still red' means 'Kiss while you're still young' rather than 'Kiss while you're still alive', and refers to the disappearance of one's lip colour as one AGES, not as one DIES. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.142.36.226 (talk) 02:19, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
