Will D. CampbellWilliam Davis Campbell – there is also a William D. Campbell I am nominating to move to William Durant Campbell. There is a notable William Douglas Campbell who needs to be disambiguated at this middle initial. ScratchMarshall (talk) 00:13, 13 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Will Campbell or Will D. Campbell is overwhelmingly the WP:COMMONNAME.

However, I agree with ScratchMarshall that Will D. Campbell is too ambiguous, so I agree that it should be or redirect to another WP:DAB page.
ScratchMarshall is suggesting natural disambiguation, whereas In ictu oculi is suggesting parenthetical disambiguation. While the need for disambiguation may override common name in some cases, in this case, the alternate name Will or William Davis Cambell is very rarely used except for:
Looking at WP:NAMINGCRITERIA, I support In ictu oculi's proposed parenthetical disambiguation. Daask (talk) 12:43, 14 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
