What about the Grigsoft Windiff? [1]

It's the same program. Microsoft probably licensed it from Grigsoft, or possibly vice-versa. Neither of the websites seem to overflow with details on this. Shinobu 16:03, 15 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Why are the "standalone installations" links pointing to pages where third parties are promoting and/or selling alternative diff tools. It seems to me that these should be removed or minimally moved to after the official download link... however as a very infrequent contributor I am hesitant to make this kind of change. 173.20.107.242 (talk) 03:15, 17 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Distribution with Windows[edit]

Windiff is also distributed on the Win 98SE CD-ROM (files windiff.exe and gutils.dll in the folder X:\tools\reskit\file, when X: is the driveletter of the CD-ROM-drive).
