I was under the illision that wisdot was responsible for planning all modes of transportation in wisconsin including transit and pasenger rail. However the all road nature of this entry may reflect the true nature of wisdot--Cassandra1953 (talk) 12:57, 2 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Justification for 'importance'[edit]

I am an experienced Wikipedian, but have never spent much time on assessments (quality, importance). So as I am about to do a large number of manual changes, I am going to paste this justification in each one.

I am going through all the executive department articles and assessing them all as 'mid' importance, because I believe they clearly fall into the criteria: "The article covers a topic that has a strong but not vital role in the study of Wisconsin." It is a good idea to know what the Wisconsin DNR is, for example (because it may make national news, or might be the point of contact for a scientists biology research, etc), but not "vital."
