Charm quark

  • ... that physicists ate hats over the discovery of the charm quark? Source: They wagered to eat their hats and ended up eating candy hats provided by the conference organizers later. • Extra comment: A amateur church historian wrote a particle physics article. Did he see God? Or did he lose God? He screams, for he does not know. --TheLonelyPather (talk) 16:09, 24 July 2023 (UTC)
  • Article has achieved Good Article status. No issues of copyvio or plagiarism. All sources appear reliable. Hooks are interesting and sourced. Perhaps the ALT hook is best here? QPQ is done. Looks ready to go. I’m not familiar with the process for April Fools hooks, but this would be a fun one. Congratulations on this excellent article! Thriley (talk) 17:08, 25 July 2023 (UTC)
@TheLonelyPather: Have moved this hook into the April Fools holding area, by the way. See WP:DYKAPRIL. Cielquiparle (talk) 05:23, 1 September 2023 (UTC)
