Hayat Bakshi Begum

  • ... that Hayat Bakshi Begum ruled the Golconda Sultanate as a regent for her son Abdullah Qutb Shah? Source: "Since the young Sultan was just a boy when he came to the throne, it was Ma Saheba who took charge of ruling the kingdom until he was about 18." (Deccan Chronicle)

  • Article is new enough and long enough. I can't access source #2 and #3 needs to use page numbers. 1630 is not supported by the source. I am a little wary of all the newspaper sources being used for this article, shouldn't there be academic sources on the topic? I didn't find any copyvio or plagiarism. First hook is good. Images properly licenced seems like. QPQ is not needed. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 09:33, 4 July 2021 (UTC)
Added link for #2. Fixed #3. 1630 was actually inaccurate, it's actually 8 March 1656; Added source. About the newspaper sources, it will take time to actually replace them with academic sources, I hope that's not necessary for the DYK. $ufyan (talk) 10:11, 4 July 2021 (UTC)
I don't know if it's "necessary" but it would be an improvement. Upon checking #2 I have to ask; is the author Syeda Bilgrami Imam? Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 10:48, 4 July 2021 (UTC)
I will look into it then. Yes, she is Syeda Bilgrami Imam. $ufyan (talk) 11:00, 4 July 2021 (UTC)
Added sources (Nayeem, Bilgrami, Siddiqi). $ufyan (talk) 11:45, 4 July 2021 (UTC)
Hrmm. Syeda Bilgrami Imam does not clearly indicate that it's a reliable source. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 12:57, 4 July 2021 (UTC)
Removed Syeda Imam source and all the newspaper sources, except in the "Legacy" section. $ufyan (talk) 13:41, 4 July 2021 (UTC)
