Paris-Mondial[edit]

  • ... that, in the final days of the French Third Republic, radio station Paris-Mondial resorted to broadcasting "recordings of military marches and panicked appeals for guns, tanks, and planes"? source is, unfortunately, not available online [Ireland and the Problem of Information Penn State Press]

  • Begin review Article is new enough and long enough. No pic to review. article is interesting, well referenced and neutral. It's not required but is there any pic or logo that could go at the top? That would add to the visual appeal of the article. I will continue the review later. Philafrenzy (talk) 12:25, 2 March 2017 (UTC)
Added an online link to the ref source. Philafrenzy (talk) 12:05, 3 March 2017 (UTC)
Refs 2 & 4 needs page numbers and 2 should redirect to the relevant page in the book since it is available. Hook is correctly formatted but lacks sufficient context. Suggest something about the Nazi invasion of France and state year 1940. Lead could be expanded. No copyvios or close paraphrasing detected. AGF on the mostly offline sources. Alt-1: ... that, in the final days of the French Third Republic after the invasion of France in the year 1940, radio station Paris-Mondial resorted to broadcasting "recordings of military marches and panicked appeals for guns, tanks, and planes"?
Updated and alt. DarjeelingTea (talk) 22:29, 25 March 2017 (UTC)
  • DarjeelingTea, the ALT1 hook is unfortunately 235 characters (spaces are included in the count), and needs to be under 200. Since there were issues with the original hook, I've struck them both. Please supply a new hook that's short enough and interesting. Many thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 01:51, 3 April 2017 (UTC)
  • Alt 2... that as the Nazis invaded France in 1940, radio station Paris-Mondial resorted to broadcasting "recordings of military marches and panicked appeals for guns, tanks, and planes"?
This is the Alt I was thinking of. Everything else is OK. Someone else can tick it. Philafrenzy (talk) 07:47, 3 April 2017 (UTC)
  • New reviewer needed to check ALT2 hook, since it was supplied by the original reviewer. BlueMoonset (talk) 02:44, 4 April 2017 (UTC)
  • Checked length of ALT2 hook, is interesting and cited (now available online), looks good. Everything else had been already checked. Zeete (talk) 15:23, 5 April 2017 (UTC)
