Thomas Reardon[edit]

Created by Astro interest (talk). Self nominated at 01:22, 18 January 2015 (UTC).

  • New enough, long enough, meets core content policies. Hook directly cited to RS. No QPQ required here. Good to go. --Jakob (talk) 14:36, 18 January 2015 (UTC)
I have pulled the hook from the prep area because of inaccuracy of the hook. See discussion at Wikipedia talk:Did you know#Browser wars. -Zanhe (talk) 04:09, 21 January 2015 (UTC)

Revised per concerns at Wikipedia_talk:Did_you_know#Browser_wars. Astro interest (talk) 18:53, 26 January 2015 (UTC)

Okay with that too (that's the actual wording used). --Jakob (talk) 13:36, 27 January 2015 (UTC)
Unfortunately, while that might be the actual wording used in the reference, it doesn't appear in the article at all. As such, it clearly isn't appropriately cited in the article. Harrias talk 21:57, 28 January 2015 (UTC)
I find that a bit pedantic, but added nonetheless. Astro interest (talk) 23:10, 28 January 2015 (UTC)
Restoring tick, although I find it worrying that you consider that pedantic, given that it defeats the whole point of DYK. And more specifically, if the hook fact isn't in the article, then it clearly can't be cited inline in the article, which means it does not meet one of the fundamental criteria for DYK.
