Deletion of band members.[edit]

Would somebody care to explain why two band members are repeatedly deleted with no discussion or explanation? Zazaban 19:46, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Who in the hell would do that? -- H3xx (t|c) 00:22, 8 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
A bunch of anons for no particular reason. Zazaban (talk) 00:48, 8 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Complete re-design[edit]

Hi! I just re-did the template with 99% of the former information intact (a few technical corrections here and there were necessary). It uses the format described in Template:Navbox musical artist's documentation and is much harder to break because you're not writing your own table layouts and styles. Enjoy! -- H3xx (t|c) 00:26, 8 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Running to the Edge of the World[edit]

"Running to the Edge of the World" single does not exist, not even is scheduled for a future release. Please stop to add it to the singles list, at least until a reliable source's available. Thanks

Made-up singles[edit]

"Cryptorchid", "Apple of Sodom", "(s)AINT" and "Running to the Edge of the World" ARE NOT SINGLES! These songs have only released as videos not as singles, so adding them to this template is completely wrong since the tab states singles. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.167.127.40 (talk) 12:41, 28 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps the issue could be resolved by adding another field? I believe it is necessary to include those other links, but maybe we should incorporate them into something like "Promotional videos" or "Other songs" or something of that nature? Homeostasis07 (talk) 06:54, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have been adding this band to the related articles section, but unfortunetly those edits have been reverted. Why? Edsel Dope, the frontman of the band, is best friends with Kenneth Wilson (Ginger Fish) and was staying with him when he joined Marilyn Manson. When Marilyn Manson recorded Antichrist Superstar, Edsel joined Ginger in New Orleans, and the two shared an apartment with Madonna Wayne Gacy. It's all on Dope's Facebook page, as well as numerus other sites across the Internet. I would list a load of sources but I'm not sure which ones are and are not ligit, so I'll just leave it to you to Google somethind like 'Dope Marilyn Manson apartment'. Also, I'm not sure if this is notable, but due to the very simular singing style a lot of Dope's songs are often confused to be Marilyn Manson's; most notably, You Spin Me Round (Like a Record). Again, I could list a load of sources to back this up but I'm not sure which ones are ligit so for that just Google something like 'You Spin Me Round (Like a Record) Marilyn Manson'. Yes, I am aware that the band isn't mentioned anywhere on the article on Marilyn Manson, and that effects the notablity... how? Couldn't something about Dope just be inserted into the article? Also I'd like to point out that Fred Sablan is an official member of the band and there are many sources to back this up. For some reason every time someone adds this dude that edit also gets reverted. I really cannot see what all the fuss is about. Robo37 (talk) 09:03, 1 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Removing "Songs" Section[edit]

It lists four random songs, the section is superfluous. There is already a section for singles. -Xcuref1endx (talk) 08:37, 18 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Related People Section[edit]

The list seems pretty tenuous. David Lynch? The brief relationship they had during the filming of Lost Highway seems to be stretching a bit to put it in the template about Marilyn Manson. -Xcuref1endx (talk) 08:46, 18 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Aren't you forgetting about Genealogies of Pain? Homeostasis07 (talk) 02:00, 19 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

List of songs recorded by Marilyn Manson[edit]

Should List of songs recorded by Marilyn Manson be incorporated into this template? ---Another Believer (Talk) 14:51, 14 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
