Untitled[edit]

As this template is for linking for non en Wikisource pages, would it make sense to add a link to an en translation? Or maybe another template for this purpose. Mock-up:

Wikisource
Wikisource
Wikisource has the original language text related to this article:
[[:s:{{{1}}}:{{{2}}}|{{{3}}}]]

In addition, Wikisource as a translation in English:

[[:s:{{{4}}}|{{{3}}}]]

Obviously a bit cluttered, that can be worked out though.

Uniformisation and correction of docs[edit]

I made a new version of a template, with transcluded docs and interwiki and with a call of {{sister}} instead of <div class>es. See User:Incnis_Mrsi/Wikisourcelang. Sysops, please, move it to here or remove a protection for a short time. Incnis Mrsi (talk) 08:27, 5 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It looks good; I moved it here. +Angr 12:22, 5 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

North Frisian Wikisource[edit]

I've tried to link to frr:Text:Hi schal laawe using {{Wikisourcelang}}, but {{Wikisourcelang|frr|Text:Hi schal laawe}} dumps me into this non-existent page. My problem is best solved with a <ref></ref>, but I suppose that someone, someday, might want to create a Wikisourcelang link into that little-known Wiki - and if so, they should be able to. oldwikisource[edit]

What is the purpose of the oldwikisource magic word in the first positional parameter? It's not mentioned in the docs. Ibadibam (talk) 19:17, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Request for a template to link authors in other languages[edit]

See Template_talk:Wikisource_author#Please_add_the_language_parameter_so_we_can_link_to_authors_on_other_languages. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 07:03, 25 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Merging of Template Wikisource and WikisourceLang

We can have a third parameter in Wikisource template for entering the name of language. We don't need Wikisourcelang template as a third parameter to Wikisource template does the same.

Instead of writing

{{Wikisourcelang|hi|T}}

We can write

{{Wikisource|T||hi}}

And get same results

If third parameter not entered, it will automatically select English. Main discussion. Prinaki (talk) 10:00, 5 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
