ESPN awards[edit]

@Dale Arnett and Jrcla2: I just saw the announcement that Sabrina Ionescu won the espnW national player of the year award. link

I decided to add it to the article but did not find an article. Noted I find one for their coach of the year, freshman of the year, or mid major player the year award. Am I missing something? This isn't a brand-new award, is it considered too minor for inclusion or has it just not been created? Part of the reason I'm asking is sometimes awards have different names and I've been tripped up before.S Philbrick (Talk) 15:34, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

My guess is that no one's bothered to create it yet. As an aside, another award I added to the list in the main season page, the Becky Hammon MId-Major POY, is brand-new and NOT an ESPN award. It's from an analytical site called Her Hoop Stats. — Dale Arnett (talk) 18:02, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
