Yes, in fact. User:Starblind will nominate me on October the 17th (in 15 days time). This is to coincide with the 6 month anniversary of my first edit on Wikipedia. Yeah - you did. My mistake. It's still big in Japan, less so in the US and even less so here. I do think that it deserves to still be big everywhere though. <rant>What really bugs me is the predjudice against Pokemon on wikipedia. Pokemon, even though some don't like it, is much more notable (in termas of hits) than a lot of other fiction. Take Mickey Mouse for example. It get half as many hits as Pikachu. Well the card game is the only thing I remember - although I had my own weird variation of the game. Not forgetting the TV show of course... I haven't seen it on TV for ages though. Do you watch Doctor Who or Big Brother? Those are the things I'm most interested in. And EastEnders, The Bill, Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks, The Simpsons (the list goes on). Advisory Committee election deadline set

Our new admin general, Essjay, has set the date for the advisory committee elections, that date being October 7th. By UTC it is October 5th right now. So see WP:ESP/E for voting in two days, and add yourself to the list if you're interested in running. On a personal note, I'm considering running, as I only resigned as admin general because of time. An administrator will examine the article and decide whether to speedily delete it or not.

Snicket Wikicity

It meant that I was adding the sapnsih interwiki link to my user page. Although I'm not a robot, that's the edit summary I see all the time.

Yeah I thought you must know. I think it would be a good idea to have a customiseable orange bar, you know the one that says "you have new messages", like a second watchlist.
