I transplanted myself to Louisville, Kentucky in 1983. My first residence was in the Weissinger-Gaulbert apartment bldg.
on Broadway. In 1985 I moved into the Old Louisville historic district, taking up residence in my own home
on West Ormsby Avenue. I recently retired from the faculty of the University of Louisville, 2005-2020.
The History of music as well as of design and architecture are among my areas of expertise and scholarship. I am also a pianist and composer.
