1a[edit]

Not happy with the repetition of "professional". Unsure why "compelling" needs to go. Tony 03:29, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

Mmm, like the urgents template! Really don't like repeated "professsional"; happy for "brilliant" to go. Why not just remove it, to have "means that the prose is compelling". Having the "professional" word in the lead is very powerful. It's all I use when I need to cite the criteria. Tony 13:38, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

History of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania update[edit]

You gave some 1a advice on this FAC, which I have made. You had also recommended an extensive copy edit, and I subsequently gave the article a thorough editing. I was not an original contributor to this article and I think that helped me make some very reasoned changes to the prose. I now feel that the writing is in very good shape. If you have a chance, could you re-visit this article? I appreciate your help up to this point. PadreNuestro 03:33, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

Brisbane Broncos fac[edit]

Thanks for your comments, I originally thought this was already complying to FA critea but obviously not, but as you and one of the persons said, its a good article it just need minor tweaking. Thanks for your help and i would appreciate more help thanks. SpecialWindler 03:38, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

LaVeyan Satanism fac[edit]

I put in a comment from your suggestions, by the way I will contact User:Silence to see how he can help. Check out my comment at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/LaVeyan Satanism. Lighthead 21:18, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

Copyedit Requests[edit]

Hey again Deckiller. It's been about half a year since we last spoke after you did a fantastic job getting Sydney Roosters up to Featured Article status. I see you're keeping busy across the entire Wikipedia, but if you have time and if you're interested, you may enjoy helping out on two near-FA quality articles: Brisbane Broncos, which is currently a FAC and one which you recently commented on, and South Sydney Rabbitohs which is close to being nominated. The other project editors and I believe these two pages simply need a thorough copyedit to achieve FA quality so any help would be greatly appreciated. It's no problem if you're unable to due to other commitments. Cheers, mdmanser 15:44, 27 April 2007 (UTC)

World of Final Fantasy VIII[edit]

I'm about to move User:Deckiller/World of Final Fantasy VIII to the article namespace. I've temporarily "given up" on Wikipedia, and you haven't done any work in a while. Obviously the article needs work, but I think the quality is acceptable. Looking at Chocobo World, it has the possibility of making Good Article with a bit of improvement. Are you fine with the move, or are you against it? --Teggles 03:17, 28 April 2007 (UTC)

Alright. I figured you wouldn't want to move it (for various reasons), but I had to ask. --Teggles 06:10, 28 April 2007 (UTC)

about Good Article references[edit]

Hi,

I noticed you had been a big participant in the new criteria page so I thought you would be the best person to ask about citations. I reviewed an article and placed it on hold (namely Ambulance) just through a lack of references in some areas. An editor as updated the page with relevant references, but he just included the web page instead of a full in-line citation. My first inkling was that this doesn't really matter, but then again, I'm not so sure. Do references HAVE to be in inline citations, and does a failure to do so mean a failure at GA? Just a question. Thanks, Smomo 10:24, 28 April 2007 (UTC)

A small request[edit]

Tyler dear, I'm sorry to bother you, as I see you're quite busy these days. Can I ask you a favor when you have a minute, please? Let me know when you have a little time to spare and I'll tell you more about it. Take your time, sweetie, there's no hurry. I'll be around most of the time these days. Hugs, Phaedriel - 01:22, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

Thank you, dear T :) I've submitted an article at GA candidates, but considering the last one I wrote was 7 months ago, I'm pretty sure that the current requirements are higher now, not to mention that my writing skills are quite rusty. The article in question is Pastime with Good Company. You'd do me a great favor if you could review it for me and point me any defficiencies of syle, referencing, or whatever you believe should be corrected. Like I told you before, there's no hurry whatsoever, so please, dear, take your time. I have the utmost respect for your editor's skills, so just tell me what to do, and I'll go "sir, yes, sir!" ;) Thank you so much, Tyler! ;) Hugs, Phaedriel - 06:05, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

music[edit]

Hello Deckiller, the list of music is a small subset of what I like, but I don't want to end up filling the entire page. Getting the new Rush album "early"? Tsk tsk. I'll have to check that one out. I was a bit disappointed by the latest Evanescence album, because it's moody, but it lacks the obvious melodic hooks that "Fallen" had. --Kyoko 07:43, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

A request[edit]

Hi Tyler from RI, I am also Tyler from Rhode Island. Being that I am a year older than you (making my name mine and mine only, not to mention I've lived here longer than you), I ask that you cease and desist the use of "Tyler" immediately. I also ask that you leave my state - Rhode Island - immediately or I will be forced to take legal action. Have a pleasant day. TornVictor 18:02, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

Re: Advice[edit]

Hey, thanks for the helpful info. Have you read the ROTJ article? I know you haven't responded to me yet. If so, can you try to give me a list of ideas to work to help improve the ROTJ article? Thanks. I would be appreciated if you respond. :D Regards Sjones23 01:42, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

Jihad (song)[edit]

Could you take a look at this article for me? I'd like to take it to FAC sometime - it's small, but is comprehensive in that it uses all the material available on the subject (it's a Metal song which wasn't given single status, so little info is available). I'm concerned it's length may be a factor in its FAC, but given that I've added all I can would I be able to say it's comprehensive as a defence? Anything I could do to improve its chances? Thanks for your time. LuciferMorgan 03:11, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

Did you manage to take a look? Anything you can do is appreciated. LuciferMorgan 21:29, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
There's no rush mate, and I apologise for choosing an inconvenient time. Take a look, if you can, when time is more carefree. Following my request to you, I asked Tony to take a look and he suggested you, so I thought I should find out if you're able to help. Thanks for everything, and I hope you are well. LuciferMorgan 21:33, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

Yayy! :)[edit]

You rule!

Tyler, sweetie! :) I was about to drop by your talk page, but you beat me to it... Yes, I noticed yesterday that you liked it and promoted it, which means that, if you were here, I'd stamp a kiss on that cheek of yours ;) Seriously, dear, it was a huge compliment that you liked it, and I've taken note of your suggestions at the talk page - I'll address them right away. Your remarks are also most useful for future articles that I'm already sketching. I swear, I expected you to review it and point its weak points to me, but you went away and passed it, and that an editor of your level actually considered it worthy means so very very much to me. I'm forever in your debt! :) Thanks again, and love, Phaedriel - 09:40, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

FFXII characters[edit]

Hi, sorry if I'm disturbing your wikibreak. Myself is almost "breaking" off wikipedia. But I digress. A query: Since revenant wings, the ffxii spin-off (not sequel, although some may disagree) comes out new characters have appeared. I've done changes which should affect the affected article's GA, have a look see review and tell me if there's any problem, ya? oh, and i'm a bit more living in ffwiki now. it's more welcoming there. good day :D — Bluerです。 なにか? 16:12, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

Goodness ![edit]

That edit summary gave me a fright !! SandyGeorgia (Talk) 13:19, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

Tyler, it must be my old broswer (IE6) — the formatting never worked, and it was messing up my entire talk page. Besides, I was so far behind it was stressing me out :-) Hope your exams went well ! SandyGeorgia (Talk) 15:11, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
